Guest guest
Anisette Dunking Cookies I made these for a bridal shower and wow, poof they went very quickly. 4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour 5 teaspoons baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 3/4 cup milk 1/2 cup canola oil 3 tablespoons anisette liqueur or Sambuca Center the oven racks. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Measure the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar into a bowl. Sift this into another bowl. In a separate bowl, combine the eggs, milk, oil, and anisette. Whisk to blend well. Pour this over the dry ingredients, using a rubber spatula to scrape out of the bowl. Stir the mixture to combine. The batter will be thick. Spray 2 or 3 cookie sheets with non-stick spray or line them with parchment paper. Drop heaping teaspoons of batter onto the cookie sheets, leaving 1 1/2 inches of space between them. Bake for about 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Transfer the cookies to a platter to cool before drizzling with a glaze or storing. Makes about 44 cookies.
