Guest guest
This is the recipe my Aunt gave me of her cake. Hope this is what you were asking for Chupa. I like this cake but I didn't know what it was made from until I was asking her for your request. She usually puts a sugar syrup over hers. Semolina Cake 3/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup butter 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 eggs (large ones) 2 cups semolina (fine type) 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 3/4 cup plain yogurt some blanched almonds for the top Beat sugar, butter and vanilla together until fluffy. Add one egg and beat then add second egg and beat. In a separate bowl mix semolina, baking powder and baking soda. Gently fold dry mixture into butter mixture alternately with the yogurt until mixed up. Spread batter into greased square cake pan and place almonds on top in rows. Bake at 350 degree until done. 30 to 35 minutes. Blab-away for as little as 1¢/min. Make PC-to-Phone Calls using Messenger with Voice.
