Guest guest Posted March 26, 2006 Report Share Posted March 26, 2006 Thai Temptation 1/2 cup peanut or olive oil 1 Tbsp. roasted sesame oil 2 onion chopped 2 " piece of ginger, minced 5 peeled carrots, sliced 5 stalks celery, sliced 2 cups chopped broccoli 1 cup soaked sliced dry or fresh shittakes 1 cup bamboo shoots 1 cup baby corn 1-2 cans coconut milk 10 cloves garlic, minced zest from 1 lemon 1 heaping Tbsp. yellow curry paste.( I use Suree brand, which includes red chilis,onion, garlic, lemongrass, turmeric and galangal (relative of ginger) Heat wok up so water sizzles when put in oil. Have all veggies cut up beforehand. Put all veggies in wok and keep stirring. They should be done in 3 min. or less or you have the heat too low. Add coconut milk, zest and curry paste and garlic. and stir for about another minute. Serve with Basmati rice or noodles. Add lots of cilantro or basil for garnish or use cilantro oil.
