Guest guest
Sure was! Most of it wasn't spicy, just the lentil paste. The collards were awesome, and the yellow lentils, red lentils, brown lentils, potatoes w/carrots, and the timitimi (sp?) salad. And the tea is fabulous! We know the owner through my FIL, we chatted with him for a bit and he gave us a bottle of honey wine. Very nice man. Sanna wants a wicker table like they serve on. They are cool, I'll have to look at Ebay for one if she's going to take this seriously. It would be fun for a dinner on the deck in the nice months. Guest guest
Thanks for the welcome, Amy. Would that be Blue Nile by chance? I've never had Ethiopian food. In general, I'm a bit timid with anything that might be spicy. I would like to try to expand my horizons, though. Maria akfral wrote: Welcome Maria! Glad you came out of lurkdom. I love the Food Network also. I'm hoping to hit the library this morning, for an Ethiopian cookbook. We took our 11 year old out to celebrate her report card. We hadn't been to the Ethiopian restaurant for a few years, I'd forgotten how good it is. AmyF
