Guest guest
Rice Flavoring Mix I have not tried this yet, but will soon it sounds great. 1/2 ounce cumin seeds 1/2 ounce fennel seeds 1/2 ounce mustard seeds 1/2 ounce black onion seeds or raw sesame seeds 1/2 ounce fenugreek seeds Combine all seeds for a nutty flavored mix. Use mix, toasted, to flavor rice, beans or vegetable dishes. For example: to spice up 4 cups of cooked rice, toast 2 tbsps. seed mix in 1 tsp. cooking oil, over low heat, about two minutes or until seeds are slightly browned. For an elegant side dish, add 1/2 cup raisins and 1/4 cup coconut.
