Shelly,, Have you tried ground flax seeds and water? That usually works for me what I need something thick or to bind. GB I tried the recipe almost as is, but without the egg, quinoa instead of rice, wheat germ instead of oat bran, and Vegan Gourmet cheese. The flavor of the veggie burgers was REALLY good but no matter what I did they fell apart! So, I tried adding some blended tofu - still crumbly. Then, I added a paste made from flour and a little more beet juice, and that got them out of the pan in one piece, but they fell apart as we ate them. I will definately keep working on it as they really tasted great! I served with fries and a loose version of Christiane's Citrus Asian Slaw from the files. Thanks for the recipe!
