I love this recipe as well as Mya flagging it for posting in her previous email. From Meatless Meals for Working People. Chopped Faux Liver Spread 1 tbl. oil 1/4 cup water 1/2 lb. mushrooms, chopped 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 cup walnuts, chopped salt & pepper to taste I usually add a dash of Old Bay seasoning to mine. Saute mushrooms and onions in oil and water in a large skillet over med. heat for 8 mins. Pour into a food precessor or blender. Add walnuts and seasoning. Blend until smooth, adding more water if necessary. Chill before serving. Serves 6 calories 116, fat 10 grams, iron 1 mg. protien 4 grams, carbs 4 grams, calcium 12 mg. fiber 1 gram One blue star ; Sets on the hill Call it back ; You never will One more star ; Sinks in the past Show me something ; Built to last.
