I don't mind it when I make the box mix, but I use hot sauce on just about everything. Here is a recipe I found at chefs.com: Falafel Rating: _Be the first to rate this recipe_ (javascript:__doPostBack('_ctl7$firstToRateLnkBtn','')) Preparation Time: 15 minutes Cooking Time: 5 minutes Serves: 7 Ingredients 2-1/4 lbs. canned garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed 1 cup onions, chopped 1 tsp. garlic, minced 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped 1 tsp. jalapeño pepper, minced or to taste 1 tsp. ground cumin 1 tsp. baking powder 4 cups vegetable oil 6 whole wheat pitas 2 cups iceberg lettuce, shredded 1 cup tahini 2 lemons, juiced 2 cloves garlic, peeled 1/2 cup cool water Other recipes I've seen don't call for the jalapeno. Maybe that would do it. When I make the bread and tzatziki I usually get gyro meat from the local deli, so I'm not much help here.
