We canned them last season and she will enter them in our State Fair this year. They are beautiful, crispy and I'm told they are delicious. I will take her word for it because when the jar is opened it burns my eyes..Just kidding. We have wonderful home grown chilis here and I can eat the mild ones. They have a distinct flavor. During harvest season the aroma of roasting chilis fills the air here. Nothing prettier than the open markets out on the farms where all the colorful chilis are displayed. I think my daughter makes the best green chili or so I am told. She puts pork in hers. I have learned to make meat free green chili and I think it tastes just as good.
