Guest guest
OK--Miss Sissy, I can see you are no " sissy " when it comes to hot stuff. You and my hubby might possibly be soul mates!!! LOL. The one thing I can be sure of when I serve a meal is that I will hear that little shake, shake, shake sound of his dried chilis going onto whatever I have served--yes, even the peach glazed tofu (sorry Donna!) I keep telling him he has probably damaged his taste buds--and just keeps adding that killer hot stuff because he can't register how very hot it actually is!!!! However, I have two fellow tai chi friends, originally from Sri Lanka, but have lived here many years, that also have quite a tolerance for the capsaicin. They love the habanera and also my husband's chili pequins. Both of them are so healthy and fit, and look so much younger than they are--, that I think they might just be on to something with their curries and hot peppers!
