Guest guest
Hi Donna, If you want, I'll try to perfect it a little more before you put it in--I realize my description was a little rambling and not very exact. I'm still trying to achieve a soft but chewy crust. It's no slouch, but it's still not perfect--know what I mean? LOL I've gotten the soft part down pretty well, but can't quite figure out the chewy. I was thinking maybe I should go through some of the files here on pizza crust to get some ideas of how to tweak it! I actually don't have many bread machine recipes that I use. I quit making bread in it years ago because I was the only one who ate the bread, and then it seemed to go to waste (or my waist)! It was a Christmas gift from in-laws about 13 yrs ago. I used it several years, but since then its pretty much been sitting in the corner making me feel guilty. So this is something I've started doing for the family that is a real time-saver for me, and gets devoured immediately. I know in the past a few members have been interested in bread machine recipes. I think we need a bread machine recipe folder so if you have any other favorites please share with us when you have time. I'll file this right now. Under the bread folder and then bread machine recipes. Smiles! Donna
Guest guest
Paula, Have you tried using a pizza stone? They help with a crispy crust.
