Guest guest Posted March 17, 2006 Report Share Posted March 17, 2006 Currant and Cumin Pilaf 4 cups water 2 cups brown rice 2/3 cup currants 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon turmeric 6 whole cloves 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions Boil water in a covered pot over high heat; add rice, currants, cumin, salt turmeric and cloves.
