Guest guest Posted March 17, 2006 Report Share Posted March 17, 2006 Irish Apple Mash (4 servings) 1 lb apples, 2 lbs Potatoes, 1 T sugar, 2 oz butter Peel potatoes and cook in salted, boiling water. Peel, core, and slice the apples. Place them in a pot with 1 T water and the sugar. Cook until soft. When the potatoes are cooked, drain and mash thoroughly.
