Guest guest
just put in something that you like the flavor of, because it will be in the coffee grinder for a long time! Learned this the hard way. - lawannasoul Friday, March 17, 2006 9:15 AM let's have fun and flavor that coffee grinder I vote to put a few cloves through it. I think the scent and flavor can't be matched. Learned this the hard way. If you immediately grind some sugar after the coffee & add-ins.... use the sugar in your coffee or just toss it, it will clean it out. However, can I suggest not grinding cloves? I did that once and now the nice clear plastic lid, and the white plastic edge that is above the metal bowl, are pitted and brown - that clove oil is some strong stuff!! I can't scrub it off, as the plastic itself is affected, it's not just on the surface.
