Guest guest
This recipe didn't sound good to me but I looked in the cupboards and had the peanut butter and garbanzo beans so I whipped it right up. I think I might be addicted now since I ate 3/4-ths. Garbanzo Peanut Spread 1 16-oz. cab garbanzo (chickpeas), rinsed & drained 3 Tbls. peanut butter (smooth or crunchy) 1/3 cup lemon juice 3/4 cup water or as needed 1 tbl. oil 1/8 tsp. cumin 1/2 tsp. garlic powder (I used a pressed colve) salt & pepper to taste Blend all ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth. Add more water if nesessary. Some sauteed onions or fresh chopped cilantro or parsley are good in this too. I spread this on a nice kaiser roll.
