All the ones I've ever seen look more like celery seeds to me. Maybe there are different types. Isis, I don't think you have ot have the ajwan. It does have a nice zing and a nice flavor though. Sometimes I've even left out the cumin and coriander and ajwan and just used Italian herbs. GB Kitcheree recipe and ajwan/ajwain Hi, I think ajwan or ajwain seeds are also called carom seeds which might be more available. Sounds like they are closer to cumin than oregano though.
