Thanks Susie, I printed this up. I think this sounds easy for me to

try. Now I have to find the okra, I don't see it very often but I

never look for it since I never bought it to cook. I want to try it

because I'm trying all vegetables now. I liked beets alot.

Paul - have you fried stuff before? I never get it right, but I know

people who do and they've told me a few hints (that I haven't tried

yet, but I know Donna's mentioned them too): make sure the oil is hot.

DOn't add too many things to the pan at once, as it cools the oil

down. Make sure the oil is hot before you put your next batch in.

 

Have fun. My DH loves fried okra (well, he loves okra any which way;

he's a 'Bama boy).
