Guest guest
I took the left over John Barley Corn casserole and made it into soup. I sauteed some celery, and more carrots until crisp but tender added the left over casserole, then a 28 oz can crushed tomatoes and some vegetable broth. Stirred to combine, added some sage, black pepper, white pepper, salt and basil. Stirred and cooked on a medium heat until heated. Taste and correct seasonings Eat and enjoy. Sorry I don't have exact measurement as I didn't measure anything I put in. Gayle

Guest guest
HI Donna: I hope you like the soup. It is really an add anything you like kind of thing. I was out of onions or I would have put in another one. I also thought about adding some beans to it. Next time my husband thinks I should go more veg soup and less tomatoe soup. Let me know what you do with the soup and how you like it. gayle
