Thanks for the repost of Donna's soup. I will make this soup

with my extra chayote. I find that if you use chayote in soup it

doesn't need peeled, I don't usually peel mine either unless I'm

making a quite steam method, somethines it is a little tough then.

It really depends on the chayote. If the skin if very pale and

smooth it cooks up tender.
