Guest guest Posted March 2, 2006 Report Share Posted March 2, 2006 I always thought it was a squash. Here in LA they sell it in the same area as crook neck and zucchini. I love this squash. I peel, remove the core, dice up and steam. I incorporate it into many dishes. I certainly hope you can find one. I haven't seen the ones that look prickly, I get the light green smooth skin type.
