Guest guest
What works for me with honeydew melons is to feel for a smooth skin and a slighty yellow hue starting. If the melon has a distinct yellow cast then it's usually too ripe and if it's a solid green it ends up hard and tastes more like a cucumber. I do the same thing GB does with canatloupes, watch for no green under the rough area of the skin and I press the end to see it it's slightly soft and pushes in. A Happy March 1st to you too, spring is right around the corner. My porch certainly looks like it's ready for some flowers. " The seed is in bloom will it need and early doom or will it survive a tranquil sea, does it face an evil end, will it find a real friend, should it be called humanity. Will creation of man bring death by his hand or will life be his destiny? Where will it go from here?
