Guest guest
Hi Angela, Thank you for the offer, I will mention this to my girlfriend. She works parttime in Nome and emails me from work there. Life is hard up there for her and she hopes to move back down here soon. It's hard being raised between the two places, there are things she loves about her village but she prefers the beach and a modern life down here. She's been spoiled by good food, flowers, warm weather and the malls...LOL Hope your Sunday is a nice one. When you have a chance to view our recipe files you will find something tasty to make. Don't let your family get you down about being a vegetarian. My sister made fun of me for 24 yrs and now she's a vegetarian. She didn't even know how to tell me. I guess she felt humiliated and thought I would tease her. Nope, I congratulated her and gave her tons of recipes and bought her a good cookbook. We are all here to help you if you have any questions and toss us a favorite recipe (:- ))))) Smiles..Donna Angela <angiewright5464 wrote: Hello Donna! Thank you for the welcome. I am lucky, I live in Anchorage so it is easier to find ingredients but good produce in the winter is hard to find. It has to be hard for your friend. When you live out in the villages groceries have to be flown in and the costs are very expensive. If you want you can give her my email address and if she needs anything I would be happy to help out. Guest guest
You whine to us all you want but actually it's sharing your new found cure. I'm happy for you Angela, I know you have been feeling bad for quite a while now. Let's see, what can we pass off on you when you get that cheese urge? I really crave a thick grilled cheese sandwich or a rich plate of lasagna but I just can't handle the cheese. I know the Vegan Gourmet melts and tastes fine but you don't have a good selection of products in your area. Let us know if we can be of any help to you. Hugs, Donna Have you tried any of the cheese sub recipes? One thing I can tell you is you got to be free. - The Beatles, Come *Together* Black, white, green, red, can I take my friend to bed? - The Beatles, All *Together* Now You better get yourself *together*, darling, and join the human race. - John Lennon, Instant Karma
