Guest guest
This delicious recipe uses both tofu and miso. It's even better rthe next day for lunch. Lily Broiled Tofu with Walnut Miso Sauce 1 pound firm/extra firm tofu, cut into 6 (1/2 inch) slices 3/4 cup walnuts 3 tablespoons miso (I se light miso) 1 teaspoon brown rice syrup or maple syrup Enough water to form a paste Broil tofu 4-5 minutes on a greased baking sheet until golden brown, turn and repeat on other side. Remove and allow to cool. Toast walnuts in dry skillet until fragrant, about 4 minutes. Grind walnuts in food processor or blender to a fine meal. Add miso, rice syrup and water to form thick paste. Spread paste on tofu and broil 1-2 minutes. Serve warm. Mail Bring photos to life! New PhotoMail makes sharing a breeze.
