Sissy Hi Sissy, we must be related, at least when it comes to chocolate!! Been sick as the proverbial dog - finally took my 'hate to go to the doctor self' to the dr and learned what I'd been blaming on fibromyalgia and hiatal hernia was caused by that nasty ulcer causing bacteria h-pylori and yeast overgrowth. (aside to self - do not self-dignose, do not self-diagnose..........) one of those times anti-biotics are a good thing! I can eat again and food don't hurt....yay !! some of the diet changes to avoid feeding the yeast beasties while taking acidopholis and miso to get the gut flora back in balance are a total b*st*rd tho....reducing sugar - no problem - but no bread, the sandwich is one of the best ways to serve food !! and no dried fruit - excuse me - oatmeal without rasins, or dates, or trail mix in it ? oh no, that's just not right !! wasn't it Tony Orlando and Dawn who did a song about a girl named Candida ? Wonder if the songwriter knows candida is a yeast that lives in our guts and causes all kinds of trouble if there's too much of it? prbly not when writing it heeheeheee. back to lurking for a while, finally gettin' some rain here in drier than dust west texas and my finger joints are talkin to me - need to go soak em in a pan of hot water and dirty dishes - always been a multi-tasker <grin> Peace, Angela great grandma recycled, she called it making do. who I am is fine, it's just this body that's disabled! middle age = that time of life when we realize yesterday's sex, drugs and rock and roll are todays memories, prescriptions and golden oldies!
