Guest guest
I have the world's simplest recipe for mac and cheese, but DH just loves it: Kraft xtra-sharp cheddar cheese, sliced 4 cups cooked macaroni 4 Tbs cream cheese divided in 4 pieces (the real stuff - this ain't vegan!) 1/4 c milk sweet paprika to taste Spray a small baking dish lightly with oil. Put the cream cheese in - 1 Tbs in each quarter of the dish. Cover with 1/2 of the macaroni. Layer cheddar cheese to cover the macaroni. Cover the cheese layer with the rest of the macaroni. Cover the last layer of macaroni with cheddar cheese slices to cover the macaroni. Pour the 1/4 milk between the slices of cheese, and then sprinkle lightly with paprika (if desired) If you have a convection oven, cook 15 minutes at 350. If you have a conventional oven, cook 25 minutes at 350. Serve with salad! the kids like it, the DH likes it, I like it. The cream cheese is a little " surprise " in it that they really miss if I don't do it. Cheerio! Elizabeth PS - I won't be able to post for the next several days, as I have a large project that has come in that I need to work on - it's due Friday - and another project that I have to finish by Tuesday. O well - it's gonna be income!!
