Guest guest
I make this side dish often . It is easy and much tastier than plain apple sauce. Great with potato and rice dishes. Wonderful for breakfast with a dollop of yogart. 2 large pears (peeled, cored and diced) 2 large apples (peeled, cored and diced) 2 tablespoons organic cane sugar 1/2 teaspoon pumpking pie spice 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice (optional) Combine all ingredients in a med. size pan and boil until fruit is tender. Using a hand mixer or blender mix until smoothe. Serve hot or cold. Note to Donna aka *Cardamama* LOL. I think this would be great with your favorite spice Cardamon instead of the pumpkin pie spice.
