Guest guest
I'm going to try this recipe. Is the creole seasoning in the market spice isle? I have never used it, is there a certain mix you make up? Add remaining ingredients except oil, and pulse until well combined (10-15 seconds). Pour in oil and process until creamy (about 20 seconds). Place spread in glass bowl and heat in microwave for about 45 seconds, or until warm. > Serve with toasted pitas, crackers or tortilla chips. Guest guest
yes, there is Creole seasoning in the spice aisle. Its usually near the seasoned salt and such, but sometimes near the meat seasonings. It's mostly red, white and black pepper and garlic salt. I usually use some of the blackened Cajun seasoning that I make up, but commercial Creole or Cajun spice will work just fine. I'll try to type up my blackened seasoning recipe tomorrow, if you're interested. - darkcydesky Tuesday, February 21, 2006 5:01 PM Re: Quick Warm White Bean Spread Colette I'm going to try this recipe.
