Guest guest
You ran across my mind today. I was wondering how you were doing and if Juniper arrived yet. Good hearing from you. You are almost there (:- ))) For the freezer......how about some pasta sauce, that's always good and the pasta cooks rapidly. You could make the sauce in the crockpot and let it cook all day. How about some of the homemade bean or veggie patties. Any of the red lentil or the recent yellow dried pea soups would also freeze well. How about a crockpot or soup pot full of vegetarian chili, like a white chili for a change? I have a good one in the files. Really happy to see your post today! Guest guest
Hey Donna, that white bean chili sounds good, I'll look it up. I actually cheated on the pasta sauce, I ordered a case of Newman's at the last Food Buying Club order, and a case of diced tomatoes. Ooh, good idea on the bean patties. James liked the black bean patties when I made them. I did make shepherd's pie last night. I made a big batch and we had some for dinner and then I put together two for the freezer. I'm hoping I'll have the energy after work tonight to make the lentil loaves. When's that supposed " nesting " going to kick in? I could do with a flurry of energy right now! Mine always hit the week I delivered. I was unstoppable...well, that is until the contractions came. ~Rachell
