Guest guest
I know some members want to make horseradish and I forgot to post my recipe for you. This is what I do. You can hand grate the peeled horseradish root or you can do in the food processor. Be careful to wear rubber gloves if you grate on the fine grater and don't breathe in close to the root. It has fumes and it's hot for your skin. I use food processor it's faster but don't open top and breathe in the fumes from there either. If you grate then you need to mix the vinegar and ingredients soon or the longer the grated root sits without the vinegar mixed into it the hotter it seems to gets. Horseradish From Scratch 1/2 cup peeled and diced horseradish root 1/3 cup plus about 1 tablespoon vinegar 1 teaspoon white sugar 1/8 teaspoon salt or pinch of salt Place everything in food processor and process until done. Store in glass jar in refrigerator. You can gate root and then mix all together. Mail Use Photomail to share photos without annoying attachments.
