Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

3/4 cup water

1 tablespoon agar -- flakes

1/3 cup cashews

1/4 cup water

3 tablespoons pimientos -- optional

3 tablespoons lemon juice

3 tablespoons yeast -- flakes

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

 

Lightly boil water and agar flakes for 3 minutes. Stir occasionally. Blend

until smooth remaining ingredients. Stir all ingredients together. Chill.

This cheese can be sliced. When warmed it gives a slight melting effect. Good

for GRILLED CHEESE.

 

NOTE: Unfamiliar ingredients can be found in most large grocery stores or health

food stores.
