Not at all. I made it with a blender to see if I wanted to invest

$100+ into a soymilk maker. It is so easy, I just take that $$ and

invest it else where...like a new blender/processor combo.:)

I soak 1 cup of beans overnight. Blend them in a blender with hot

water, add enough hot water with the slurry in a pot to equal about 6-

8 cups and bring it to a boil until it whooshes up. Then I take some

cotton slightly larger than usual mesh and strain it when the milk

cools enough for my hands. The okara is a side bonus!!!! :)

I can buy a pack of beans for $2 and that makes about a gallon!!!!

That is it in a nutshell.

The amount of soaked beans have to be divided into 2 batches for a

good blend before cooking. Email me off site and I can give you step

by step.

The okara I spice up with whatever, maybe add some tofu , and a

little flour to hold it together and voila!!!

My next project is to make home made tofu. From what I figured in

cost, I can save a bundle!!!
