Lentils????

hmmm... I think it might be a good idea to ask at the healthfood

store, just how often they sell the organic lentils... maybe they

were old on the shelf??

 

 

still.. I love your tenacity with them!

good luck with your cukes... I'm always very particular in picking

out cukes, and zuchini (well.. all my produce) but those in

particular because my grandpa grew them.. =)

Lentils????

 

 

The Lentil saga continues..LOL They are now Lentil soup and they are

*ugly*. These organic Lentils were from the Health Food Store. Actually

the soup doesn't taste too bad but sure is a far cry from the origianl

*crunchie* recipe. Today I am making a cucumber salad with spicy

dressing which I found in a very old Chinese Cook book. I love the

Chinese name * Liang-pan-huang-kua*. The ingredients for the " spicy

dressing " is very different using Sesame Seed Oil, which I happen to

have on hand. Hoping to find a couple good 'cukes' at the store.
