Guest guest Posted February 7, 2006 Report Share Posted February 7, 2006 Sloppy Lentil Joes 2 cups dried lentils 1 large chopped onion 1 carrot, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1 celery stalk, chopped 4 cups water 4 cups tomato sauce 1 tbl parsley flakes 1 bay leaf (optional) 1/2 tsp basil 1/s tsp oregano 1/2 tsp cumin pinch crushed pepper flakes pinch black pepper pinch cayenne 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1 tbl low sodium soy sauce Cook in slow cooker on high for 4 hours or 6 hours on low.
