Guest guest
I fill a glass pitcher with water and I place dried hibiscus (jamaica) in a small piece of cheese cloth and tie it or a tea ball works. You can find the jamaica at the Latin market, leave in the sun for 6 or more hours. Sun tea isn't bitter compared to using the boiling method. I do the same thing with different combinations. I crush up some dried lavender (don't pulverize it) and add some citrus rind. Dried rose organic unsprayed rose petals with some roobios tea makes a good combo. Lemon rind and a little dried rosemary are good together. I don't use mint leaves but my sister makes her sun teas with mint leaves added in. I did make some good sun tea with my pineapple sage leaves, those leaves do taste like pineapple and not sage. You can experiment and see what you come up with.
