Guest guest
Hey PT, I do have Donna handing me the quiche-tah-whatever that thing is and I made Kenia's fire salsa and my Mom made a hummus too. I going to make those veg. hot dogs in the dough. They don't sound hard to make and I have all the stuff for us to dip them in. There's vegetables to dip too. Thanks for all the ideas. I don't know who will win, I just like to eat, watch the game with my friends and drink beer. Later, Mo 1. For the easiest snack idea, call and invite your Aunt Donna to the party and ask her to bring 5 or 6 dishes to share. *lol* 2. Chips and dips, salsas, hummus etc. You can never have too many, and pretty much everyone enjoys them. 3. Don't forget the raw veggies. i just read an article about Superbowl snacks that claimed raw veggies are moving up in rank as the most requested and desired snack of choice, even with the manly-menfolk that like football. Sounds like some of those guys are listening to their doctors and wives. 4. A big crock of vegetarian chili. 5. Veggie hot dogs, fried crispy-brown on the outside, then cut into bite-size pieces, wrapped in bread dough and baked until golden brown. Don't forget the dipping mustard, ketchup, and hot sauce. 6. A big bowl of pasta salad. Tri-color rotini spirals with chopped veggies, salad dressing and parmesan cheese. 7. No-bake cookies. You gotta have a few sweets, and no-bake chocolate peanut butter oatmeal cookies are fast and easy to make. You could also just buy some yogurt covered pretzels and peanut clusters and set them out in bowls to satisfy the sweet tooths in the bunch. [again, remind Aunt Donna to bring some of her brownies *lol*] 8. A big bowl of fruit salad. You don't even have to make it with all fresh fruit. Frozen chunks, berries and canned pineapple chunks all tossed together.... it doesn't get easier than that. If you have time, chop up some melon, mango, and kiwi to mix in. Hope these ideas help. Have fun watching the game. i heard Seattle is gonna win. What do you think?
Guest guest
Mmmmm beer! Sounds like it will be a wonderful party with a lot of great food and fun. Glad some of my ideas were helpful. i don't care who wins the game either, but i do hope Paul wins his football pool so he can buy some cool cooking stuff. Have fun! ~ pt ~ :::who is wondering who is gonna show what body part during the half-time show this year:::: Spend your brief moment according to nature's law, and serenely greet the journey's end as an olive falls when it is ripe, blessing the branch that bore it, and giving thanks to the tree that gave it life. ~ Marcus Aurelius , Mo <alucard_man wrote: > > Hey PT, I do have Donna handing me the quiche-tah-whatever that thing is and I made Kenia's fire salsa and my Mom made a hummus too.
