People of color and poor people do not have the time to experiment with different vegetarian dishes, as nutritious as they may be. They are always pressed for time, thus prepared packages of food (normally not vegetarian) are the choice of the moment. " ~ Time? Time is an issue for everyone, Miss D. It isn't a racial issue, it is a modern human issue. We are all pressed for time. But thankfully cooking vegetables is faster, and safer [since undercooked veggies won't make you sick for days like undercooked meat]. It takes 5 minutes to crisp saute a bunch of veggies! It takes 7 minutes to cook pasta. Toss them together with a some jarred sauce or warmed olive oil and garlic and there is dinner in no time at all. Chopped fresh veggies bought on sale: $3.00 Box of pasta: .89¢ Olive oil and garlic used: .50¢ Eating good? Priceless! *lol* Now you share a fast and healthy recipe with all of us. [no matter what we look like or how much $ we have] ~ pt ~ This is a world of action, and not for moping and droning in. ~ Charles Dickens (1812-1870)
