I will bet there are many who envy you and many more who are very proud of what you are becoming. You did the best you could with the information you had at the time. I always tell myself " we are all at our own level of understanding " . People will be influenced by your example. " What you say reminds me of one of my favorite quotes, by May Angelou: " . you do what you know how to do. And when you know better, you do better. " It certainly applies to me. I didn't become vegetarian until I was in my fifties and I always loved animals. I just never put it all together. Young children almost always go through a phase of disgust when they first find out what meat really is.
