Samantha asked who is the author of " Mad Cowboy. " It's Howard Lyman.

He also now has a documentary out by that same name www.madcowboy.com/

When Oprah Winfrey was in trial down in Texas, both she and Howard Lyman

were defending themselves against a beef disparagement suit brought by

the Texas Cattlemen's Association. Howard had appeared on her TV show to

talk about " Mad Cowboy. " Without thinking, she just reacted to what she

was hearing: " I'll never eat another burger! " (Dr. Phil got involved

with Oprah at that point, counseling her during that period, and got his

big start.) Oprah and Howard won the original suit. The cattlemen

appealed over and over again until a wise judge finally threw the case

out of court, saying that you can't sue someone for telling the truth.
