LOL Yes, we could really cook on pennies together.

I get customers and see what they buy and think to myself, Wow! I could fill

my cupboards and feed several crowds and have money left with that amount. I

indulge in my one delicacy.....Celtic sea salt.

Donna,

You would be right at home in my kitchen. I cook the same way you do.

I also buy my spices and herbs in bulk or fresh and air dry. My

grocery bill is far less than most. When I see grocery carts laden

with pre-packaged chemical added food and see how much it costs I am s

hocked. It is a simple matter of education. Tea bags are another

expensive waste of money. I buy bulk rose hips, mints, chamomile,

green tea, lavender, etc. and it lasts for months for *pennies*. I

save everything. Orange and lemon peals for tea and sauces. Dried and

kept in glass bottles . This lifestyle is a challenge for me and I

love doing it. I learn something new every day. Life is a hoot.

Smiles and hugs coming your way.

Life is so hard; how can we be

anything but kind?
