Guest guest
Probably should ask a vegan forum, but I know that vegans are on here too, as well as those who may be lacto-vegetarian. I'm transitioning from ovo-vegetarian to vegan, and I'm curious to know how in the world to know if something has eggs in it, or what products would typically contain them. I do know that they tend to be snuck into pasta, but am curious to know how to avoid them when I eat out. Thanks, Andrea
Guest guest
Andrea, the kinds of things that usually contain eggs are baked goods, loaf type casseroles, pasta in Italian restaurants, and some puddings. The best you can do is ask, at restaurants. If the wait person seems clueless, send them to ask the chef. Don't feel guilty is you have some small ingredient that is not vegan. Just do the best you can do, because it is not even possible in this modern world to really be 100% vegan, especially if you carry that lifestyle into what you wear. The computers we use and the cars we drive all have something that came from animals. from Maida Citizens for Pets in Condos, http://www.petsincondos.org South Florida Vegetarian Events, http://www.soflavegevents.net
