Guest guest
Last night I was in the Hispanic area of the market and I saw the fideo pasta coils and also 8 oz. packages of the broken fideo. I have eaten it made with either. It sure is good and I plan on making this recipe since it's Paul's sisters athentic Mexican recipe. You know my friend adds some white corn to hers so maybe I will make that one addition. Guest guest
Isis, I like Paul's/sister's recipe too because it has fresh garlic and onion instead of *salt*. However I think I like the idea of browning the pasta, onions and garlic and simmering it in veggie stock before adding chopped tomatoes/tomato sauce. I will also use the cumin and garnish with green onions instead of Cilantro. Fun to experiment with a recipe. Will make mine today and see how it turns out. Sendinnd also 8 oz. packages of the broken fideo. > I have eaten it made with either.
