Guest guest
Donna, Our cast iron is either Wagner or unmarked. I am by no means an expert on this but I have friends who publish the Backwoodman Magazine and a couple years ago they had an article about cast iron. I have contacted them to ask for a copy of this article. The last Wagner skillet my daughter bought cost $50 at a flea market but that was years ago. Many of our items are over 50 yrs. old. My daughter still cooks in a pot that is cracked and it does not leak. Deanna
Guest guest
Hey Chandra, I find cast iron at thrift stores in our area all the time. I frequent the flea market at Comley and State Road every Sunday and there isnt a Sunday I am there that I dont see at least one piece of cast iron. Skillets usually run around $8 each. Most times they are seasoned and ready to use...these are the best. If you find one that is really used and crusty, do a search on line for cleaning cast iron...I have done it and it works well. Good Luck! Roxie ) ______________________ Check out AOL.com today. Breaking news, video search, pictures, email and IM. All on demand. Always Free.
