Guest guest
All of our cast iron is very old , well seasoned and we never wash them with soap, only warm water. Most of the time I wipe mine clean with a paper towel. Been doing this for years. Like everything there is quality cast iron and according to what I have read the so called *new cast iron * is not really *cast iron* and cannot be labled as such. Real cast iron is collectable and very hard to come by and is very expensive. Real cast iron will be stamped with the company name. If are lucky enough to find one at at yard sale, even if it is rusted buy it. It will clean, season and be good as new. Never ever buy the new iron pots and pans with the wooden handles..They are not good quality and the handles break easily. Deanna
