veggie sushi party

Hey everyone. Just popping in to say hello and to claim that I'm so

far behind reading posts I'm not even going to try to catch up.

Haven't been on line since Thursday morning.

 

Anyway, James and I had a lovely gathering at our place Sunday

afternoon. We actually have a group of friends who were willing to

come to our veggie sushi party. We provided the rice, nori, egg rolls

and dipping sauces and asked everyone else to bring fillings. It was a

lot of fun and those who rolled the sushi had fun. We have the

traditional bamboo mats and also a plastic contraption that makes all

kinds of shapes.

 

It is amazing that we moved to an area of SW Iowa in which we have

quite a progressive group of people (many are organic farmers and

gardeners).

 

Having a " make your own " sushi party is a lot of fun and I would

encourage all of you to put one on. Here is a link to a site that
