Guest guest Posted January 30, 2006 Report Share Posted January 30, 2006 Lily, The one in the book looked so good but the recipe called for heavy cream, grated parmesan cheese and paprika..So I changed it to a more friendly Vegetarian/Vegan recipe. The book recipe also called for the broccoli to be cooked in water but that didn't make sense to me when I could cook it in vegetable stock for extra flavor, and use the remaining stock when I pureed the broccoli. The Spanish Onion is baking in the oven now and I will have it as a side dish with the Broccoli Puree on mashed potatoes for dinner.
