Guest guest Posted January 28, 2006 Report Share Posted January 28, 2006 Recently back from a grocery shopping trip, I'm feeling awfully silly now for passing up an opportunity for my first taste of daikon radish. You see, there was a sign that I could have swore read " $1.79 each " above the daikon radish bin. So, I grabbed the biggest one I could find, quite pleased with the bargain. When I got to the register, however, it came up as $3.50. You guessed it, it was per lb. Taken aback by my mistake and the new price, I opted not to purchase it, after all, saying " that experiment will have to wait.
