Guest guest
I don't have them as often as I got older. I avoid foods that bring them on also. Try ice on the area of the migraine, also ice on the back of your neck, firmly massage the area between your index finger and thumb and rest your feet in a tub of ice cubes. There are times I have to take Imetrix and I know there are strong side effects but I can't hang over the toilet for 3 days nor lay flat on my back in a dark room and that's just how severe they will hit me at times. Luckily I haven't had one that bad in years. Do you have any idea what foods bother you if any? I'll have to remember to try the ice water foot bath next time. I've also heard that smelling a Granny Smith apple is good for headaches. -Erin , Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower> wrote: > > I take Imitrex and it works almost 100%. I used to take the shot but I think there are less side effects with the pills. I try everything alternative but sometimes I have to take this med. Sorry you have side effects from it. > Donna
