Guest guest
CARROTS: I seem to have a lot of carrots. I'm thinking of roasting them. Any suggestions? Roasting tips and seasonings? Or other recipies? Some of the carrots are a bit old (not so crisp). Bean dips: My toddler loves dipping. Any toddler friendly bean dip recipies out there? She needs to gain weight. Thank you. Guest guest
I got the following from CDKitchen.com. I add onions to this. But, it's simple to make and doesn't take that long. Would be even quicker if you used a pressure cooker. Ted Posted by: KIMOSABE kimosabe126@ dot com on Rec_Food_Recipes usenet group. CROCK POT CURRIED CARROTS 1 pound carrots, peeled and cut into rounds 1 teaspoon curry 1 teaspoon brown sugar 3 Tablespoon butter, melted Place carrots in the Crock Pot. Sprinkle with curry and sugar. Pour on the melted butter. Stir until all of the carrots are covered. Cook on High for 2 hours. This was posted to a website by a gal from New Zealand. This recipe is very easy and very tasty. It's an instant favorite. It can also be made with parsnips.
