Guest guest
I agree, Kai, and so do the other moderators of this group. We really do not want members to just post recipes they cut & paste from other websites. Anybody can do that, and in our opinion that is a pretty silly hobby. We only want recipes posted here that people have tried and enjoyed themselves. That is a key aspect that sets the groups we host apart from the others. If you prefer tried and true recipes, you will love these other groups we host: / ~ A friendly place to share tips, recipes, menu ideas, support, and just general banter about being a vegetarian in a world where many people still eat animals. This list is friendly to all forms of vegetarianism. Share recipes that work for you and please don't simply load us with those you've never tried; we can all download and do searches on the web for ourselves. What the feral vegetarian craves most is sage advice and tried recipes from experienced vegetarian cooks.~ / This is a VEGETARIAN not vegan-only crockpot and slow cooker recipe and cooking group. Many of the recipes are vegan, if you see a recipe you would like to veganize, it will be up to you to do so, not the members. Come and join and share the fun. Everything from easy soups, stews and desserts to gourmet recipes, we have it all. / We are a VEGETARIAN group. Come join us, enjoy fun conversation and exciting recipes to try and share. All TRIED AND TRUE vegetarian ovo-lacto and vegan recipes welcome. We have a complete recipe file to browse. All of us want something new to cook and serve to family and friends. Or maybe we just want to ask questions, share tips or rate or even recommend a new cookbook we picked up. We are warm and friendly here, just please, no foul language or topics and be your friendly self, with no negativity towards other's opinions, and no nit picking. , " kai_hurada " <kai_hurada wrote: > > Recipe post not tried and true ones? > Please could you say if it tried when you post it? Guest guest
Sorry, I was not aware of the TNT rule when I posted several of my favorite TNT recipes yesterday. They are recipes that work well and are useful additions to my vegetarian cooking repertoire. I'll try to stick to this rule now that I am aware of it. Guest guest
You don't have to put TNT in your recipe headers or anything, just mention if you have made this or not so we know it has been tested and comes out good. A simple phrase like, " My family loves this recipe " or " this comes out perfect every time " , etc. will be just fine. The issue came up when a new member joined and just copied and pasted recipes from a Florida magazine and we could not tell if the person had tried them. It wasn't your posts or recipes we were referring to. Keep sharing. ~ PT ~ , " debbie.yauch " <debbie.yauch wrote: > > Sorry, I was not aware of the TNT rule when I posted several of my favorite TNT recipes yesterday.
