Guest guest
Fudgey Brownies 15 tablespoons cocoa 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla 1 1/4 cups butter 3/4 cup flour 1 3/4 cups light brown sugar 5 eggs Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9 " x13 " pan. Gently melt the chocolate (cocoa). Let cool for 10 minutes. Use a medium size bowl in which to cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla. Stir constantly while drizzling in the melted chocolate (cocoa). Beat for an additional 2 minutes after all the chocolate has been added. Stir in the flour. Stir any additions [such as: Chopped walnuts or pecans, grated orange rind, cinnamon, mashed ripe banana, strong black coffee or chocolate chips]. Mix just enough to blend thoroughly. Spread the batter in the prepared pan. Bake until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean (20-25 minutes). Cut into squares while still hot. Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving
